Website not loading
If you find that a website for you isn't loading you can try following these steps to do some basic troubleshooting and narrow down the issue.
Example of a website not loading properly
Start by closing and re-opening your Web browser such as Chrome, then try loading the webpage again. If you still have problems, continue to the next step.
If restarting your browser doesn't work, try loading up a different website to see if that loads. If this other website loads just fine then either the website you were trying to access is down/unavailable or it is being blocked by our firewall.
If the website is down, nobody else should be able to access it, try asking a couple of colleagues if they can load the website, if they all report they cannot load the page, it is most likely the website is down. If someone is able to access it then it's not being blocked either and must be something local to just your account.
You can also try typing the website address in the search box on Down for Everyone or Just Me, this website will try to access the website from an external source outside the company and if it says it's ok then we know it's an issue on our side and isn't an outage from the website's side.
Enter the website address in the search box
The website will tell you if the site is OK or down for everyone
Lastly, you can try clearing your browser history and cache and then restarting your browser and seeing if the website loads again.
If none of these work for you, contact IT and we'll investigate if it's our firewall or something else that is preventing you from accessing the website.
